About the Villa
Horizon Luxury Villas is a collection of four contemporary holiday homes nestled on the hillside above Kournas, in western Crete. Each villa has been designed with simple, modern lines, bright interiors and wide glass openings that frame the sea and the mountains, so the views become part of your everyday stay. With three bedrooms and three bathrooms in every villa, there is plenty of space for families, couples travelling together or small groups of friends who want comfort and privacy without losing the feeling of being on holiday together.
The villas share the same philosophy of relaxed luxury. Private pools with sun terraces, outdoor lounges and barbecues encourage you to slow down, spend time outside and enjoy long meals under the Cretan sky. Inside, fully equipped kitchens, smart TVs, air conditioning and quality mattresses make life easy from the first day, whether you are here for a short escape or a longer break. Horizon Luxury Villas is close to Lake Kournas, Georgioupolis and beautiful sandy beaches, yet the atmosphere on the property remains quiet and peaceful, so you can explore during the day and come back every evening to your own calm, modern retreat.

Our four villas are your private base in Crete, each one fully independent with its own entrance, pool and outdoor spaces, yet set side by side so you can choose exactly how you want to stay. You can book a single villa for a family holiday or a friends’ getaway, or combine two, three or all four villas to host a larger group, with everyone enjoying their own house and meeting around the pools and terraces. Every villa offers three bedrooms, three bathrooms and a bright open plan living area that opens directly to the pool deck, while all share the same signature elements: clear sea views, private swimming pools, stylish interiors and the comfort of a fully equipped home in a quiet location between Chania and Rethymno, just a short drive from Lake Kournas and the long sandy beaches of Georgioupolis.

The villas are located in Kournas, a quiet countryside area between Chania and Rethymno, which makes it a very practical base for exploring the island. Lake Kournas, the only natural freshwater lake in Crete, is just a short drive away and is perfect for a swim, a pedal boat ride or a simple lunch by the water. Within a few minutes by car you reach the long sandy beaches of Georgioupolis and Episkopi, while charming villages, traditional tavernas and the famous springs of Argyroupolis are also close. From here you can plan easy day trips to both Chania and Rethymno and still come back in the evening to the quiet of your private villa and the open views to the sea.

We rented out all three villas for a bachelor party. The villas were beautiful & modern. Each one has a pool, three bedrooms, and 2-3 bathrooms. Fully stocked kitchens & bathrooms.
The owner & her three daughters live 10 minutes away, and they own a grocery store & gas station. All of them are incredibly nice & helpful. They even bought all of us a round of drinks when we were in town!
There is a transfer service that the owners recommend, and they were fast & reliable.
The views are incredible & the villas are very private.
If you do decide to stay, GO TO GEORGIA’S next to Lake Kournas. The food is incredible, Georgia is wonderful, and the prices are amazing!

La villa était incroyable, l’emplacement très calme et reposant et à 8min en voiture vous avez accès à un petit village avec de bon restaurant et supérette. La propriétaire du logement était vraiment au petit soin.
