About our Villas
Horizon Luxury Villas is a collection of four contemporary holiday homes on the hillside above Kournas, each one designed to feel like a private sanctuary with wide sea views, plenty of light and easy indoor outdoor living. Every villa offers three bedrooms, three bathrooms and an open plan living area that opens directly onto a private pool terrace, so your days naturally flow between the water, the lounge and the kitchen.
The interiors are modern and simple, with soft tones, clean lines and comfortable details that make you feel at home from the first evening, while outside you have your own pool, sun loungers and relaxing seating areas to enjoy the Cretan sun, the sunset colours and quiet nights under the stars.
Our Purpose
Our purpose is to offer more than just a beautiful place to sleep, we want your time at Horizon Luxury Villas to feel like a real break, where you slow down, reconnect and leave with memories that stay with you long after the holiday ends. We do this by focusing on the details that matter, from the quality of the beds, linens and amenities to the way the light enters each room and how the outdoor spaces invite you to relax together.
At the same time we are always here, quietly in the background, ready to help you plan experiences, taste authentic Cretan flavours and explore the area in your own way. In the end, if you feel that our villas were not just an accommodation but your home in Crete, then we know we have achieved what we set out to do.
Our Story
Horizon Luxury Villas was born from a simple idea, to create a place where we ourselves would love to stay with family and friends. We have strong roots in this part of Crete and grew up between the sea, the mountains and the villages around Lake Kournas, so we know how special this landscape is and wanted to share it in a way that feels authentic and relaxed.
Instead of building a large hotel, we chose to create four private villas with the comfort and style of a modern home, but with the warmth and personal care of local hosts who live close by and genuinely enjoy helping guests discover their favourite corners of the island.

We rented out all three villas for a bachelor party. The villas were beautiful & modern. Each one has a pool, three bedrooms, and 2-3 bathrooms. Fully stocked kitchens & bathrooms.
The owner & her three daughters live 10 minutes away, and they own a grocery store & gas station. All of them are incredibly nice & helpful. They even bought all of us a round of drinks when we were in town!
There is a transfer service that the owners recommend, and they were fast & reliable.
The views are incredible & the villas are very private.
If you do decide to stay, GO TO GEORGIA’S next to Lake Kournas. The food is incredible, Georgia is wonderful, and the prices are amazing!

La villa était incroyable, l’emplacement très calme et reposant et à 8min en voiture vous avez accès à un petit village avec de bon restaurant et supérette. La propriétaire du logement était vraiment au petit soin.
